Questo è l'itinerario per il mio prossimo viaggio in India a Febbraio.
Starò via un mese e viaggerò in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarkhand, Madhya Pradesh e West Bengal.
Da Roma viaggerò con la Emirates sulla tratta Roma-Dubai-Delhi all'andata e Kolkata-Dubai-Roma al ritorno.
Le principali città che visiterò saranno, come indicato nella mappa:
- Delhi
- Haridwar e Rishikesh
- Agra
- Jhansi e Orchha
- Khajuraho
- Varanasi
- Darjeeling (via New Jalpaiguri)
- Kolkata
- Shantiniketan
I principali spostamenti saranno in treno (Sleeper class), più vari piccoli trasferimenti in autorickshaw, bus o jeep.
Alloggerò in mid-range o budget guesthouse e mangerò cibi locali, preferendo economici e completi thali (=piatto unico servito in un piatto diviso in vani dove sono presenti le varie portate).

This is the itinerary of my next India trip, planned for February.
I'm going to stay for a month, travelling in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarkhand, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal. From Rome I'm travelling with Emirates on the Rome-Dubai-Delhi route for the outward journey and on the Kolkata-Dubai-Rome route for the return journey.
The main cities that I'm going to visit are, as shown in the map:
- Delhi
- Haridwar and Rishikesh
- Agra
- Jhansi and Orchha
- Khajuraho
- Varanasi
- Darjeeling (via New Jalpaiguri)
- Kolkata
- Shantiniketan
The main travelling is going to be by train (Sleeper class), plus several short trips by autorickshaw, bus or jeep. The accomodation will be in mid-range or budget guesthouse and I'm going to eat local food, especially the economic and complete thali (=an all-in-one course served in a plate divided into multiple compartment for all the various dishes).
